Qualcomm announces the 64-bit Snapdragon 410. -
Qualcomm has developed its first 64-bit mobile chipset, the Snapdragon 410, however it is not a high-end SoC as it would seem. This one is designed for the lower-tier devices.
The Snapdragon 410 also brings 4G LTE connectivity alongside its 64-bit capability. With 28nm architecture, it will come with Adreno 306 GPU and 1080p video playback and support up to 13MP camera units.
The new chipset from Qualcomm will support all major mobile OS: Android, Windows Phone and Firefox OS . Consumers can expect to see the chipset in devices as early as Q2 of 2014.
